Not to be outdone by the Rover, the MX5 got some time spent on it too
Month: November 2017
Much to the relief of my wife, I finally got around to fixing the hand brake.
Owning a Rover SD1 means accepting that you will always have something to fix.
As part of my usual “new car” base-line servicing, I changed the oil in the MX5 the other day.
A sticking trip counter that won’t reset is a common “feature” of the SD1, and one that I’m keen to fix on my car.
I couldn’t help myself, I HAD to work on the wing and see what condition it was in.
It’s good knowing others with the same sort of automotive suffering as myself, sometimes they surprise you with opportunities like this one.
Yet another part of the car that made me question who worked on it last. I needed to change the coolant as I did not trust what was in it.
Not content with just working on the Rover, MX5 and Zeal I have also done some work on the Mustang recently.
Wow. Has it really been 12 Months since I purchased the SD1? Already?
