Just because I’ve been playing with the Saab, doesn’t mean the TVR has been neglected. If anything, I’ve hit the TVR with some renewed vigour this weekend and got a couple more jobs sorted.
To say I’m a little smitten with the Saab is an understatement, it’s a very good all round car. I’m impressed.
I got bored, and when I get bored, I spend too much time on Trademe. Somehow I have ended up with yet another car from a defunct manufacturer.
Just to keep things interesting, I got to help a friend out with their VW Passat that had a transmission issue.
Well yeah, Bosch K-Jetronic…. I now understand why it’s so widely hated.
Last weekend Tastes Like Petrol was invited to join the Wellington Rover Club Run to the Manawatu.
Another small job I wanted to take on whilst the car was in bits, was to check the valve clearances. I had no history of it being done, and its a fairly important thing to check on these engines, and not hard to do.
Its been a while since the last post; almost exactly a month. Although it’s been quiet on here, work has been slowly progressing on the TVR.
Since I’m still waiting on the pressure testing kit to arrive, I got impatient and did some more testing.
