Whilst the car was in the air for its brake upgrade, I wanted to chase a knock I’ve had in the front suspension.

I like turbo cars a lot. You open the intake up, and they make great noises. I wanted more noise from the Alto, but didn’t want to pay much.
Many months ago, back in January, I upgraded the small stock intercooler to a big Greddy one. I’m changing this again.
I can’t leave anything well enough alone, so the Alto once again popped into the garage for some quick upgrades.
The handling getting extra murdery prompted me to open my wallet and replace some more parts.
It’s been a big weekend of work on the Alto, but before I detail the main lot of work, today I did some upgrades in the interior.
Because I can’t leave anything well enough alone, I wanted to do some science and see if I could make a low-cost big brake kit for the Alto.
In the early R06A engines like in my Alto, the crank thrust bearing issue is well known. I decided to preemptively replace mine.
