It stopped raining. This was a good thing, as it meant I could finally get to Pick A Part and grab some bits for the Corolla.

The final part of the interior job was to recondition a few of the switches. The window, panel and headlight switches all needed an overhaul.
Well, I’m not kidding, I’m all over the place with the Mini at the moment.
Well well well, another multiple part post happening within another multiple part post. Hell, it’s like postception over here. Progress has slowed dramatically, and the title of this post might well give away why.
As usual, I don’t mess around when I get a new car. It was time to see what I had.
I’d had enough of the horrible, leaky, torn and ugly soft top on the car, so it was time to pull it off.
The more I dig into the work done on this car, the more I question the sanity and abilities of anyone that has touched it in the past.
Since obtaining the car its been running very rich, pouring carbon out of the exhaust and blowing plumes of black smoke. Today I had a look to see if I could fix it.
Finally, another thing that’s been bothering me, fixed.
Warrant day is getting close, and since my parts arrived, it was time to get the car ready for it.
