Because the LEAF took over the daily run, I could finally do some dumb things to the Fit that I couldn’t do when I needed it as a daily.

I can be a bit lazy when it comes to maintaining the daily, particularly when it works fine. Preventative maintenance and I aren’t really on good terms.
Oops, I completely forgot to wrap this section up. After polishing the car within an inch of its life, it was time to take it in for the WOF.
To say the paint on the car had been neglected was an understatement. The poor thing either hadn’t been washed at all or had been washed with a rock.
Now it was time to address the issues with the car that I knew about, the WOF failures.
Like all cars I buy, the first thing to do was a long overdue service.

Well here we are, I finally made it to my first track day.
When you think “racecar” you don’t tend to think “1.3L shopping trolley”, well, most people don’t anyway.
To celebrate 10 years of ownership, I thought I would finally treat the Fit to some new shocks and a mild lowering. It didn’t quite go as planned.
