Yesterday we spent another day knocking items off the list of things that Nick’s Vitesse needs fixed.
I have mentioned Nick’s Vitesse before, when I fixed an issue he had with his ECU. Show day is coming, and it’s a rush to get his car ready. Today we checked off another WOF issue; the hand brake.
When working on the Mini yesterday one thing I noticed was that the coolant overflow bottle was full, despite the cooling system being empty. Clearly something wasn’t right there.
I can’t help myself, I’m up to 51 already.
It isn’t a fun job, but it’s one I needed to do. To get Tess on the road I needed to replace the steering rack.
I had some time off from work today, so I finally got around to servicing my auto transmission.
Upon returning home after the WOF check, I felt it was time to sort the bucket of porridge shifting.
The Vitesse had its longest drive in a long time today, to see if it would pass a WOF.
Another familiar job; A pair of upgraded rubber gaskets to replace the leaking cork ones.
