At times it feels like I’m playing Whack-A-Mole with the rust, but I am steadily knocking rust on the head and putting new steel in.
Wow, it’s almost been a year since Part 1, this project really has been on the back burner.
The time had come to take Lucas on his longest voyage in years (and the longest drive in my ownership, basically doubling the mileage I had done on the old engine), it was time to go to work.
Woah what a week it’s been! I have spent almost every night (Thursday was rest day) in the garage until well past my bedtime working on Lucas, trying to make sure I was on track.
What a weekend it’s been. So much coolant on the floor… and so much progress.
Well heck, it’s been a real rollercoaster recently, and things have been moving quickly…
Well, since my last update, it’s all gone downhill.
After the last big update, not much has happened with Lucas, except for me setting a deadline to have the car on the road again.
No, the Swift didn’t pass its WOF first try, but I kinda knew what it was about to fail on.
