Before we can get into doing fun things with this car, I needed to undo some neglect and deferred maintenance.

One of the first things that annoyed me was that the car has had a small bump in the LH front corner. Nothing major, but it had pushed the grille, grille panel and headlight out of alignment with the bonnet.
I didn’t leave it long before I got stuck into playing with this thing. I needed to first check what sort of baseline for maintenance we had.
Well, here it is, the replacement for the Mini. Not quite in the same league, but fun nonetheless.
Well, the time finally came. After many insultingly low offers and a bit of time-wasting, the Mini is gone.
In my quest to tidy up the loose ends and get the Mini ready for sale, the car received an oil service and a simple but impactful cosmetic change.
Whilst the other cars have been in the spotlight, getting all the love and attention, the poor little Honda has been sitting off to the side, trundling along as the super reliable daily, clocking up the miles.
Another thing that has bothered me since I got the Mini, was the horrible wind noise from the passengers window at speed. It needed fixing.
Finally, It looks like I might be coming to the end of fixing the previous owners neglect and bodges.
So here we are; 12 months down the track.
