Well today has been somewhat bitter-sweet. Little Snicket has been moved onto a new owner.
Category: Snicket
Having taken Snicket through this process, I thought it might be interesting for others to know what the story with it is.
Today was the day; Recheck day.
My recheck is booked for Wednesday, so with limited time to get it all sorted, I got the Mini back together.
Since I was at a standstill with the rear of car due to waiting for the rear arms to be reconditioned, I decided to push on with the front of the car.
As the first step to sorting out the issues needed to get Snicket on the road, I decided to remove the radius arms, so it also knocks out two jobs in one.
I finally had the time, and money, to take Snicket down for its re-registration inspection.
Maybe leaving a 38 year old car outside in some of the heaviest rain we have had wasn’t such a good idea.
This darn car. There is always something that makes me shake my fist in frustration.
Worn bushes are no fun, and these bushes get a hard time in normal use. My Tie Rod bushes were stuffed and needed replacing.
