Well today has been somewhat bitter-sweet. Little Snicket has been moved onto a new owner.
Tastes Like Petrol
Something I haven’t mentioned on here yet is the fact Schnellwagon didn’t even make it a month before breaking down. Thankfully it was simple to resolve.
The transmission has never been great since I got the car. It was really the biggest thing letting down the enjoyment of hooning around on boost.
Having taken Snicket through this process, I thought it might be interesting for others to know what the story with it is.
Today was the day; Recheck day.
My recheck is booked for Wednesday, so with limited time to get it all sorted, I got the Mini back together.
Well it didn’t take long before I started to play with the wagon.
Since I was at a standstill with the rear of car due to waiting for the rear arms to be reconditioned, I decided to push on with the front of the car.
As the first step to sorting out the issues needed to get Snicket on the road, I decided to remove the radius arms, so it also knocks out two jobs in one.
I finally had the time, and money, to take Snicket down for its re-registration inspection.
