Unfortunately, due to my special ability to keep bringing neglected cars home with me, I now have a dire need to make some space, so the BMW will be sold.
Tastes Like Petrol
Like all cars I buy, especially ones this cheap, there are issues. Not for long though.
Once again, I prove that I can’t be trusted to be on the internet without supervision; I’ve added a fifth car to the fleet.
Since driving the car more, there has been one small but persistent issue; the valve cover is still haemorrhaging oil.
The time has finally come. I couldn’t put it off anymore. I needed to cut out the rust.
Ah damn, the reliable second car became slightly less than reliable.
In a couple of weeks, I would have owned the Marina for a year. That’s a reasonably long time for me to own a car, so I needed something to mark that milestone.
Well, the time has finally come, it’s time to see if the car is roadworthy or not.
In preparation for the upcoming WOF inspection, I needed to make sure everything works, including all the lights. The high stop light is a constant source of annoyance for me as it just doesn’t consistently work properly.
With the Tomcat finally on the ground again I could get around to doing some smaller jobs that I didn’t have space to do before.
