I like hiring rental cars. Modern low mileage cars that I wouldn’t tend to own myself. Over the Christmas period I hired a Toyota Yaris, of the manual transmission variety. These are my thoughts on the car.
I’m slowly getting there, I finally finished installing the rear speakers into the Rover.
Following on from the first days work, I jumped back in and started putting it all back together again.
Its time to fix the reason I havent driven the SD1 since the day I purchased it. The leaking fuel return hose.
Its taken three weeks, but I thought it was about time I reassembled the door….
My knee is healing reasonably quickly, thankfully, so I decided now would be a good time to ease myself back into working on the Rover.

Finally, the weather let up for a few minutes today, so I carried out some more work.
I’m slowly working through the list of things that were wrong with the car when I got it. Todays task was to remove the 30-year-old radio, and look into why the RH rear window is dead.
